Parents Association Annual Auction

The PA's gala auction, their annual fundraiser, netted over $200,000 this year. This money is used for current needs at the school, relieving the burden on the school's funding from the Department of Education, which has been cut by almost $3 million in the last three years. The combined funding from this, the studio parent groups and A&F totals more than $800,000 a year. Although each group raises money for different purposes, we have worked hard over the past year to make sure our funding efforts are complementary in order to provide coordinated and substantive support for the school and its students. We encourage you to support the PA auction. There are many ways to do this:

1. Go to the auction website and keep in touch with the latest news and sales.

2. Participate in the holiday online auction at CharityBuzz.  Great items include Christmas week in Cozumel, tickets to The Rosie Show, four tickets along with a poster to the Phish concerts at Madison Square Garden , December 28-31, 2011.  More items will be added, so be sure to check back.

3. Become a corporate sponsor to help underwrite auction expenses or make a financial contribution. To do either, click on the link above to the auction website.

4. Donate an item or service (tickets, artwork, workshops, gift certificates to restaurants or your favorite classes, etc.).  The donation form is also on the auction website.

5. Go to the auction for a great night of food and entertainment filled with great items to bid on.  It's a fun evening with lots of interesting people!
