There are 3 goals for our professional alumni groups:

  1. connects alumni working in the specific profession and related fields
  2. collects alumni support for current school students
  3. provides volunteer assistants to the alumni office in the expert area

Founded in 1984, the mission of the Alumni and Friends (A&F) is to raise funds, mainly through an endowment, to benefit the school and its students; to bring together students, alumni, and friends of the school and its two legacy institutions, The High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts High School, to assure continuity of community support for the school; and to promote the highest standards of excellence in arts education. 

A&F is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization. Our EIN is 13-3166108. You may examine our filings with the New York State Department of Law here.
